Feeling Helpless Lately?

April 23 2020

For many who are working in essential services, you are making a difference everyday on the front lines and we are very grateful for your service. For those of us who may be working remotely and staying home, we may feel helpless, like we aren’t making a difference during this pandemic. While these feelings may be arising, alone with anxiety or loneliness, you can access these great, remote, services from members in our Network  to chat with a counsellor or a peer advisor.  We’ve also gathered a few ideas if you’re looking for a different way to help the fight against COVID-19. Please remember, by staying home and practicing social distancing, YOU ARE helping to battle this pandemic.

Here are a few other ways that might help you feel helpful during these times:

Practice compassion with yourself and others

A few quotes from the Catholic Health Association of Manitoba that may help during this time
