A New Care Team Manager in Ste. Rose
Réseau Compassion Network would like to welcome Sheryl Robertson who has accepted a new term position as Care Team Manager (acute) for the Ste. Rose General Hospital.
In this new role, she will be responsible for the development, coordination, implementation, evaluation, and operation of St. Rose General Hospital.

Rose Health Centre,” says Michelle Quenelle, CEO. “I’m confident that her leadership will affect positive change within our passionate and committed team. Sheryl is a nursing leader who wants to be a part of a vibrant, rural community, who enjoys creating relationships and who cares about the professional development of the team.”
Sheryl has worked as an LPN at Ste. Rose Hospital since she was a graduate nurse in 2002 and has been nursing on the ward, in the emergency department and as charge nurse for several years. She started assuming her new role at Ste. Rose Hospital on April 25, 2022. Congratulations to her as she courageously takes this next step in her nursing career into this leadership role.
Marymound Launches their Annual 50/50 Raffle
Marymound is raising funds for summer programming for their youth clientele, and they’re inviting us to participate in their 50/50 raffle, now available online!
Proceeds from this draw will go directly towards supporting summer activities for the youth Marymound supports. This includes swimming lessons, trips to the beach, canoeing, fishing, and other fun activities.
Marymound is a youth and family social services organization who provides a number of programs and services for vulnerable youth including: crisis stabilization, assessment and treatment programs, group homes, treatment foster care, clinical services and cultural healing services. Their approach focuses on cultural renewal, land-based healing and Western therapeutic interventions.
They provide supports to 2,000 children, youth and families annually. Your support of their 50/50 raffle will go directly towards helping them in our work.
The raffle will run until Thursday, May 26 at 11:59 p.m. and the draw will be completed at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, May 27th. All the rules for the draw are listed on the raffle page.

An Experiential Fundraising Event for Sara Riel
Sara Riel will be holding the Paths to Potential Wellness Walk and Run event on May 15, at St.Vital Park, a fundraiser in support of mental health and addictions. Participants can choose a 5k, 10k or team option, as well as a walking path.
“The walk portion is 2.5 kms, and it’s going to be ‘experiential'”, says David Stewart, Manager of Mental Health and Addictions Services.” Along the path, you will stop to talk to people, staff and participants who will help you along your journey – drawing the parallel between many of our values at Sara Riel and the event itself.”
Sara Riel’s mission is to provide those individuals with mental health and substance use and addiction challenges a safe, inclusive and engaging environment where self-determined needs are valued, and all are assisted on their path to reaching their goals.
